Subtle violet and lavender, ripe and dried dark fruits, and dried herbs on the nose. Medium bodied and balanced on the palate, with smooth tannins and delicious natural acidity. Ripe fruit notes - dark cherries, raspberries, blueberries, blackberries, dark plums, dark currants - dried Italian herbs, fennel, liquorice, and oak cooking spices on the palate, before giving way to dried cherries and berries, with notes of earth, meat, leather, and tobacco.
