What: A stimulating adventure into the hills of Italy

Where:  Wine Shop Upstairs / 234 Marrickville Rd

Time: 6:30 pm to 8:30pm

Ah Italy. A land of wines. A land of fine food. A land of pure undulance. 

How would you describe the Italian landscape. Rolling? Hilly? Like that swaying feeling get when lying down on the bed after catching waves all day*? Yes all these things, but we believe that the best word to describe Italy is "undulating". 

We will be looking at the hills that shape Italy's wine regions: their slopes, their microclimates and knack for producing wines as vibrant and complex as the land itself. Will we be mentioning soil types? Possibly. While making intense eye contact? Definitely.

 The focus will be on the wines of Tuscany, Puglia and beyond. The iconic reds and whites that make up many of Italy's most storied wine regions. 

* I assume. I am not extreme enough for surfing. 

EVENT DETAILS

Our wine tastings finish at 8:30 pm. They sometimes go a little over but we try to have everything officially wrapped up by then and let people hang back and chat if they like.

In terms of food, we will have some nibbles but not full meals. The snacks vary for each event. It is quite common for people to head next door to the wine bar Where's Nick for dinner after a tasting. It is super good. Book Here.

Tickets are non-refundable but can be exchanged for future events credit up to 7 days before the event.

This cannot be done closer to the event as we order wines based on ticket sales. If you cannot make the event, you are welcome to give your tickets to someone else, like a gift!
