A juicy, textural skin contact full of tropical fruit - made with Malvasia Moscata, a near extinct varietal from Piemonte.

Full of sweet tropical fruits on the nose, with aromas of lychee, passionfruit, and a touch of rock melon.
The tropical fruit picks up in flavour, with fresh, textural, and even dried fruit notes, a slight candied citrus quality, with a bright earthy undercurrent.

Lively, medium bodied, and dry on the palate, the texture is all crunchy fruit weight meets skinsy phenolic grip meets bright energetic acid, all integrated together, with a touch of astringency on the finish.

Nerd Notes

Malvasia Moscata from Piemonte, Italy.

The grapes come from 75 year old vines, planted in mineral-rich deep clay soils, with biodynamic viticulture (not certified).

Grapes are hand harvested, spontaneously fermented with indigenous yeast in 500L oak and acacia barrels, where they spend 9 months macerating on skins.

The wine then rests for 45 days in stainless steel, before bottling.

Bottled unfined, unfiltered, with minimal added sulphur.
