Ah Fernet. The juicy bitter herb drink so often palmed off on hospo as an after dinner shot. A free Fernet? Oh wow I feel so special.

Mostly this is reference to Fernet Branca (which I hate and its basically toothpaste water). HOWEVER! Here we have the far superior Walcher version. No added sugar, 26 botanicals and a focus on saffron as a flavouring. An actually tasty after dinner amaro.
Nerd Notes

Did you know Fernet and Cola is a thing, especially in Argentina. So if you want to drink like an Argentine* then add a shot of Fernet Walcher in a short glass on ice and top with capi cola.

* This recipe is in no way Argentine. They usually use Fenet Branca, closer to 2 shots in a tall glass.
