Time: 6:30 pm to 8:30pm

Join us as we taste wines from CROATIA. 

In a list of countries whose wines I have barely tried Croatia ranks right up their with Türkiye and lower Moldavia. In fact I have tried more wines from Sweden and China than I have Croatia (which says more about me really). 

Which is a shame because, like literally every nation on the Mediterranean, Croatia has a viticultural history dating back thousands of years with a host of ancient local varieties. 

Most vineyards in Croatia are found on its super nice coast. A complex scattering of peninsulas and islands that are home to many of the nations most famous wineries. The warm coastal climate being perfect for both grapes and tourist hordes. 

For this tasting we will be looking at wines from Croatia' two coastal regions, Dalmatia and Istria, as well as the inland region of Slavonia.

A big focus of the tasting will be on the excellent wines produced by Clai, one of the best estates in Istria. 

So join us as we taste through some Malvazija, Freskavina, Refosk and more.

EVENT DETAILS

Our wine tastings finish at 8:30 pm. They sometimes go a little over but we try to have everything officially wrapped up by then and let people hang back and chat if they like.

In terms of food, we will have some nibbles but not full meals. The snacks vary for each event. It is quite common for people to head next door to the wine bar Where's Nick for dinner after a tasting. It is super good. Book Here.

Tickets are non-refundable but can be exchanged for future events credit up to 7 days before the event.

This cannot be done closer to the event as we order wines based on ticket sales. If you cannot make the event, you are welcome to give your tickets to someone else, like a gift!
