'Palhete' is a traditional style of Portuguese wine, made from a field blend of red and white grapes which are all fermented together.

A fresh, mineral light red of real deliciousness. Loads of red fruits and spice. Surprisingly complex and pretty serious despite the general easy drinkingness. Delicious.

NERD NOTES

A field blend of about 40 varieties, 75% red, 25% white - estate Grown, with organic and biodynamic viticulture.

100% destemmed for a 4-5 day pre-fermentation cold maceration, brought back to ambient temp for spontaneous fermentation over 15 days. 8 months’ elevage in tank. Unfined, unfiltered, minimal sulphur at bottling.
