A bright yet soft Falanghina from Campania. Loads of ripe pear, melon, and a touch of citrus pith, with just enough minerally acid to keep it fresh. Some serious quality here but smooth and inviting enough that you can trick your friends into drinking something fancy. Perfect with seafood and lies. - J

Nerd Notes:

Organically grown grapes from two different sites in the province of Avellino.

The grapes are left to rest for one to two days after harvest, before being destemmed.

The cellar is located further north in Montesarchio, Benevento.

Fermentation occurs spontaneously with indigenous yeasts, with the grape juice macerated on skins for two days, in stainless steel tanks and left to age for 7 months.

Bottled with minimal added sulphur (only when needed).
