An excellent and unique Sangiovese from ex-volcano Monte Amiata, Tuscany. Worlds away from Chianti.
Producer: Bakkanali Soc. Agr. Srl - Ugo Fabbri and Sebastian Nassello
Region: Monte Amiata - Grosseto, Tuscany, Italy
Grapes: Sangiovese
Complex and serious in character, yet so far apart from a Chianti.
Aromatic florals and red fruit. Rich flavours of cherry and dark fruit, oak spices, dried herbs, and mineral-rich earth.
Bright and lively on the palate, vibrant in texture, minerally structured from earthy tannin and energetic acidity, medium bodied, finishes long and mineral clean.
