A crisp and mineral-saline white from Navarra's 'Valley of the Stars'.
White pears, nectarines, and a splash of fresh apple, rocky mountain herbs, that transforms into a moreish minerality on the finish.
Crisp and crystalline on the palate, dry, medium bodied, textured with bright mineral acidity. Delicious
Nerd Notes
From the Nekeas Valley on the north side of Navarra. A valley of steep slopes that are heavily influenced by the nearby Atlantic, a cooling and wettening (?) influence. Vines sit at an altitude between 450 to 650m.
The result is unique Grenache Blanc and Rouge with an Atlantic influence.
100% Garnacha Blanca comes from Becaira, a 3.05-hectare vineyard selected for its sandstone soils, southwest exposure, and 480 m elevation. The vines average 11 years of age (as of 2025). The wine is made by direct press, followed by fermentation and brief aging in stainless steel.
