Brilliant ruby in hue and concentrated flavours of dark cherries, plum, and red fruit, alongside ginger, nutmeg, white pepper, and aromatic blood orange.

Its crunchy, bright, light to medium bodied, and well balanced with fine tannins and fresh natural acidity. Clean on the finish.

Nerd Notes:

Cinsault from the neighbouring Lennon Vineyard, which was grafted to a former Semillon patch in 2013.

The 2022 vintage was a ideal, with healthy yields and a long even growing season.

Hand selected grapes, placed into a 2 ton open fermenter for 2 weeks. Spontaneous fermentation with wild yeasts, before being gently basket pressed and aged in veteran French hogsheads for 7 months.
