Aromatic red fruits, red florals, and spices on the nose.

Fruit forward in flavour, with red cherry, raspberry, and plum, alongside a subtle balsamic tone, notes of spice and coffee, with hints of tobacco and smoke.

Palate is rich yet fresh, full bodied, lushly textured with soft tannin and an underlying mineral acidity, long and smooth on the finish.

Nerd Notes:

Hand harvested Piedirosso grapes.

Spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeast, in open vats, no temperature control.

Partially whole bunches (approximately 40%) and macerated on skins for a week.

Aged in stainless steel.

Bottled unfined, unfiltered, and with minimal added sulphur.
