An intensely fruit forward and floral white from the south of Italy.
Rich in flavour, with ripe lemon, grapefruit, and lush citrus fruit, a touch of nectarine, all fresh and dried, aromatic florals and herbal notes, a moreish minerality current, and an almost almond nuttiness.
Smooth and lushly textured, dry on the palate, a bright acid line surrounding by rich weighty grip. Finishes with a lick of crisp minerality.
Producer: Cautiero
Region: Sannio | Campania
Grapes: Falanghina

ABOUT THE ESTATE
The vineyard is surrounds the town of Frasso Telesino, located at approximately 375 metres altitude on the clay loam soils and moderately calcareous bedrock of the massif Taburno Camposauro's western slopes. The surrounding area is a regional park, known for its wildlife and biodiversity.
The estate takes care to respect, protect, and promote the area's natural environment. They employ organic viticulture techniques, using natural fertilizers, copper, and sulphur (as opposed to synthetic chemicals), pruning the vines to promote vine health and minimise disease pressure, and work with grape varieties native to the area.
The winemaking follows from this; with wines being made using wild yeasts, unclarified and unfiltered, with minimal sulphur (at bottling) resulting in expressive wines that showcase the area's natural environment.
