Champagne Madness: Blanc de Noirs. Brut Nature. Base 2020, Disgorged Oct 2022

So easy drink and delicious at that. Medium bodied with lower fizz than your average Champagne. Very vinous in style. Notes of red apple, cherry, kitchen herbs and spice. Fresh and chalky on the palate.  An excellent wine.

NERD NOTES

This wine is mostly from 2020, with a small amount of reserve wine sourced from a perpetual blend kept inside a massive old foudre.

Pressed in a traditional, vertical Coquard press to old oak for primary fermented and elevage for 10 months. The wine spends 15 months in bottle for secondary before being disgorged without dosage.
