Christian Binner - Scarabee Skin Touch 2016

A skin contact wine from the Grand Cru Kaefferkopf, one of the oldest and most historical vineyards in Alsace.

The wine made from this site by Christian is not always skin contact, but the healthy grapes of 2016 suited the style of winemaking.

The wine is a field blend of mostly Gewurtztraminer with the rest Riesling a bit of Muscat. A seriously good wine both with food and alone. Lots of aroma and flavour with notes of bright guava fruits, dried fruits and spice. Fresh and smooth on the palate with fine tannin.
