A fresh, lively, and textural Trebbiano blend, from the Adriatic coast and tasting like it too.
Producer: Vini Controvento
Region: Rocca San Giovanni - Chieti, Abruzzo
Grapes: Trebbiano, Malvasia di Candia, Passerina, and Fiano
Rich golden-yellow fruits, wild florals, hints of herbs, and a touch of salinity on the nose. Lush flavours of citrus fruit and ripe apricot on the first sip, all fresh, dried, and candied, supported by subtle dried herbs and a crisp sea-breeze lick.
Bright and lively on the palate, soft and lushly textured with a touch of crispness, and a fresh acid core of mineral-salinity.
NERD NOTES
A blend of Trebbiano (65%), Malvasia di Candia (15%), Passerina (10%), and Fiano (10).
The grapes are pressed in stainless steel, where vinification occurs through spontaneous fermentation with natural yeasts, and sees 2 days of skin maceration.
Bottled unfiltered, unclarified, no added sulphur or other additions.
