A fresh and mineral white wine from the Jura made without oxidization or flor.

White florals, stone fruit, minerals and ripe lemon on the nose. Textured, savoury and minerally on the palate, medium bodied, with a nice long finish.

Drinking beautifully now but with the structure to age and improve.

Nerd Notes:

Julien Mareschal's 5 hectare vineyard sits high on the marl slopes of Pupillin, with some vines reaching 550m above sea level. His winemaking is biodynamic in practice, with hand-harvesting, native yeasts and minimal sulphur (avoiding any additions where he can). La Marcette was fermented in large format old oak barrels, and aged in the same for a year.
