A super aromatic and elegant Pinot Noir from the folks at CRFT.
Red fruit scents, along with bright florals, subtle spice and undergrowth on the nose. Light bodied, with soft-silky tannins and generous lines of acidity. Notes of raspberry, mulberries, and red cherry open on the palate, followed by subtle pepper, smokey and spiced oak notes, forest floor, earth, and mushrooms, with a current of minerality running through it all.
Soft and structured, lacking nothing in substance - it's nothing if not well crafted.

NERD NOTES
'Made at CRFT winery in Carey Gully. Hand-picked in three batches on 17th, 19th and 21st April. A blend of two clones, D5V12 and 115. Cold-soaked followed by wild fermentation in an open-top tank with 25% whole bunch. Pressed to barrel once dry for wild malolactic fermentation and maturation. Occasional lees stirring. Matured for 9 months in 100% French oak, 30% new oak. Vegan friendly.'
