An elegant and driven skin contact Friulano from northeast Italy.

Charming aromatics of fruit, honey, and spice. Frest citrus and stone fruit flavours, developing into more textural and dried fruit notes, accompanied by sweet cooking spices, a touch of honey, and a rich mineral aspect.

Smooth on the palate, lushly texture with tannic grip, dash of bright acid, mineral current, and a subtle bitterness on the finish.

NERD NOTES

The wine is vinified in large oak barrels, with skin maceration lasting for 60 to 90 days. After fermentation, the wine is aged for 3 years in 20 or 30 hl barrels and an additional year in bottle.

The wine is unfiltered, preserving the presence of sediment in wine which keeps it alive & conserves it.
