Domaine de Brin 'Vendemia' Red Blend 2021 | Gaillac, France

A bright and lively red from Gaillac, in the South West of France.

Fruit froward on the nose, with bright red fruits, fresh strawberry, blueberry, and blackberry. Medium bodied and dry on the plate, packed full of fresh berries, along with a sour cherry and a slightly brambly character. Structured and deliciously balanced, making for a vibrant and expressive wine.

NERD NOTES

Fifteen days of maceration, with pumping over and manual punching down. A percentage of 20% press wine aged in Amphora is blended with the final wine, before ageing in concrete for 18 months. No filtration and low sulphur at bottling.
