There's nothing shy about it, at 17+ % and with deep intensities of flavour. Its full-bodied, powerful, and opulent, yet nevertheless graceful and wonderfully poised.

What the hell is Macvin?

Grape juice from the Jura is boiled down till reduced by half, before being fortified with brandy to about 16% abv. The resulting concoction is then aged in oak casks for at least 6 years.

The resulting... thing, is rich and flavoursome with a dark amber colour and notes of dried fruit. Potentially very delicious and can be drunk for months after opening.
