A delicious Cabernet Franc from Chinon in the Loire Valley.
Wet gravel, roasted capsicum and raspberry on the nose. Dried herbs, sour cherry and more red capsicum on the palate. Medium bodied, with grippy savoury tannins and bright acidity to hold it all together.
Try it with chargrilled veg and meats.

NERD NOTES
Brothers Henri and Valentin Bruneau worked hard for this vintage, harvesting between 4-11am to keep the fruit cool enough for natural vinification before manually sorting and destemming, then cold fermenting in concrete. Pump overs only, aged 9 months in concrete tanks. 10ppm SO2 at bottling.

From a north-facing hillside with typical Véron terroir, with fine clay soils which accentuate aromatic complexity as well as aging potential. This cuvée drinks well now but can keep another ten years in the cellar or more.
