An elegant and bright Pinot Noir - it's packed the Derwent Valley terroir into a bottle.
Producer: Domaine Simha - Nav Singh and Louise Radman
Region: Tasmania
Grapes: Pinot Noir
Perfumed aromas of violets, small red fruit, and forest tones.
Rich in flavour, with fresh-juicy raspberry and red cherry fruit, very subtle spices, and wild forest tones of bushland undergrowth, moist earth, and musky perfumed notes.
Fresh and bright on the palate, elegantly smooth with a subtle touch of prickly fruit, supple tannin and a dash of crisp acidity, long and clean on the finish.
A delicious terroir driven Pinot Noir.
NERD NOTES
Pinot Noir from a cool climate, single vineyard in the Derwent Valley, Tasmania. The vineyard features five Pinot Noir Clones: MV6, 114, 115, 777, and D4V5.
Handpicked on a fruit day after the Hunters Moon.
Whole bunches fermented with wild yeasts, 2 months of skin maceration, using gentle pigage, before being basked pressed. Matured for 12 months in old demi-muid barrels.
Bottled unfiled and unfiltered, with minimal added sulphur.
