Edenflo 'Candy Lane' Chilled Red 2023 | Eden Valley, SA

A light red, whole bunch Pinot & Gewürztraminer (40% & 40%) co-fermented then pressed to finish in tank and aged on lees. A little Mourvèdre, Grenache and Syrah were back blended to lift the colour, tannin and spice profile.

Light and lyith with colour of a light red rose, cranberries and spices on the nose with a fine line of tannin that brings you back for more, crunchy acid. Best drunk cold.

NERD NOTES

Blend of Gewürztraminer (40%), Pinot Noir (40%), with the remaining 20% a mix of Grenache, Mourvèdre, Semillion, Syrah, and Tempranillo.

Destemmed Gewürztraminer over whole bunch Pinot Noir, macerated on skins for four days, gently pressed to ferment, settled in tank. Remaining varieties were then blended in.
