Envínate x Casa Castillo 'Micrit' Monastrell 2018 | Jumilla, Spain

The second vintage of this collaboration between Envínate's Jumilla and José Maria Vicente from Casa Castillo. The first vintage didn't turn out quite the way they wanted it to, but this one sure did. The nose is subtle and focused, opening up to bright fruit with a little patience and time in the glass. A pure, fresh and precise palate with chalky minerality, super fine tannins and a delightfully long finish. Elegant. Moreish. Will only improve with age.
