Folicello - Il Rosso Lambrusco Ancestrale 2020

Dry, red, and sparkling, this wine is sweet-smelling and structured, with an intense fruit flavour. 

It has a refreshing aroma full of dark currants and dried Italian herbs. The palate is full of ripe dark fruits, half-sweet-half-tart berries, dried herbs, cooking spices, and a touch of earth. There's a delicious astringency, adding depth beyond the soft fizz.

It's a bone dry old school Lambrusco.

From a small vineyard in Emilia that has never seen any chemicals or pesticides. The wines are fermented in tank before being finished in bottle with no additions, as opposed to a second new fermentation.
