Gilbert 'Blanc' Pinot Grigio Blend 2022 | Orange, NSW

A textural and intensely aromatic white blend by way of NSW's Central Ranges.

Rich aromatics of citrus blossom, rose water, and crunchy white fruit notes. Builds in flavour with crisp nashi pear and fresh citrus fruit notes.

Crunchy on the palate, dry, crisp and weighty, smooth in texture, structured between fresh acid and a slight tannic bite.

NERD NOTES

Riesling (50%), Pinot Gris (26%), and Gewürztraminer (24%)

The Riesling was handpicked, with 3 quarters of it been pressed and cool fermented in stainless steel, with the remaining quarter being cool skin fermented, basked pressed, and then matured in stainless steel.

The Pinot Gris was pressed, and then fermented and matured in a combination of stainless steel and neutral French oak.

The Gewürztraminer was divided into thirds, with the fist being warm skinned fermented, basked pressed, and then matured in stainless steel. The second was pressed and cool fermented in stainless steel. And the remaining third pressed and fermented in amphora.

Blended before being bottled with minimal added sulphur.
