Gilbert 'Petillant Naturel' Riesling 2023 | Eden Valley, SA

Cloudy, fizzy, and suspiciously easy to drink.

This is Riesling gone full pet-nat—zippy, unfiltered, and slightly chaotic in a good way. Though Gilbert is based in Orange, he took some fruit from Riesling nexus, Eden Valley. It hits with lemon zest, green apple, wild herbs, and a whiff of sourdough crust. There's a touch of funk, but it’s mostly just clean, fresh, and playful as hell. A good wine to introduce those skeptical of pet nat to. 

Bottled with a little bit of unfinished business, some spritz, and zero pretense.

Naturally fermented. Lightly wild. Incredibly chill.
