This is the earlier release offering from Quintarelli. Released young and more approachable in its youth. The wine still has the same quality fruit as other offerings and is damn good, just without the extended aging and a bit more flexibility in what grapes are used.
A dark and meaty wine with loads of ripe cherry, blood plum and blackcurrant fruits alongside more earthy tones and dark spice. Deep yet with great acid holding it together. Already complex and serious. A great introduction to Quintarelli.

THE ESTATE
Giuseppe took over his families estate in the 1950's and overtime turned it into one of the regions best. His focus on quality and tradition stood out in a region dominated by bulk and mechanical production. Today the estate is run by his children (Franca and Beppe) and are super rare.
