Giuseppe Quintarelli - Valpolicella Classico Superiore 2017

A classic Valpolicella blend from arguably the regions most sort after producer. Super rare, seeing that sexy green bottle on the shelf is always a treat.

Ripe and flavoursome with notes of dark red cherry and berry fruits alongside plenty of spice. Concentrated, rich and serious. Yet holding everything together is a core of minerally and steely acidity. Finishes complex and almost elegant.

A vineyard selection that sees long aging in old Slavonian oak and bottle before release. 

THE ESTATE

Giuseppe took over his families estate in the 1950's and overtime turned it into one of the regions best. His focus on quality and tradition stood out in a region dominated by bulk and mechanical production. Today the estate is run by his children (Franca and Beppe) and are super rare.
