Unapologetically funky and complex rum aged under the Jamaican sun. Raw and intense - great for sipping or power mixing.
A seriously good rum from one of Jamaica’s most storied estates.
Bold and tropical, with notes of pineapple, banana, orange zest, and warm spice. Almost smoky in its rawness. The palate brings ginger, banana, cinnamon and clove, balanced by darker notes of chocolate and coffee. Long finish—like drinking apple-mint pie, in the best way. Very tasty.
ABOUT
Hampden is famous for its generations-old dunder pits: open-air, stone-lined basins where post-distillation residues (dunder) are left to ferment and evolve. These pits act like sourdough starters, cultivating wild microbes that supercharge fermentation and create the intense high-ester funk that defines classic Jamaican rum.
Made from molasses with zero added sugar or colouring. Wild fermentation, pot stills, and nothing fake. Yes, wild yeasts too... you nerds.
