A Chilean Pinot Grigio made in the romato style - being both a skin contact orange and rose wine.
Bright amber in colour. Aromatic notes of orange, apricots, and jam, with jasmine and orange blossom florals. Texturally intense on the palate from skin contact, dry and medium bodied, with notable acidity. Flavoursome with red and white fruits, ginger, earth, and a bitter herbal character.

NERD NOTES
Pinot Grigio vines, planted in 2007, and grown on sedimentary and granitic soils.
Grapes are hand harvested, before being destemmed and macerated on skins for 7 days before under going spontaneous fermentation using indigenous yeasts in stainless steel tanks.
Maceration on skins continued for a further 2 months post-fermentation, for a total of 3 months.
Minimal sulphur added before bottling.
