Kreydenweiss - Grand Cru Wiebelsberg Riesling 2017

This is a floral and elegant Riesling, which will over the years develop spicy notes. Slow pressed whole bunch, fermented with indigenous yeasts, and aged on less in oak foudres for 23 months before bottling.

It has balance and finesse, with a ripe rich nose and a generous, voluminous palate of fine acidity and saline tension. This wine loves crustaceans and white meat. 

NERD NOTES 

South-east facing, on a steep slope at the exit of the village, the Wiebelsberg is a 1.58 ha vineyard located on a pink sandstone soil of the Vosges, 230-200m above sea level. The vines are 20-40 years old and worked biodynamically - partially worked by draft horse.
