La Villana - Bianco Uovo 2020

Excellent skin contact wine from Lake Bolsena, Lazio - made with Procanico grapes and aged for a year in concrete eggs.

Savoury and complex in nature. Fruit flavours of melon, fresh citrus, and ripe stone fruit, alongside fresh, aromatic florals, dried herbs, smokey spices, and a volcanic minerality. Dry and medium bodied, the palate is vibrant, with mineral acidity and grippy tannins. Finishes with a slight herbal bitterness.
