A generously expressive Muscadet.

Fresh aromatics of quince, mango, and lime, with yeasts tones on the nose. Builds in flavour, with ripe pear and pineapple fruit notes and a rich saltiness.

Fleshy on the palate, smooth texture, dry and medium bodied, balanced between a mineral-saline acidity and lushness from lees work.

NERD NOTES

The Champtoceaux Cru is located just outside of Oudon, in the Muscadet Coteaux de la Loire appellation. Vines grow in gneiss based terroir with organic cultivation.

Grapes are hand harvested. Vinification occurs through spontaneous fermentation with natural yeast, and undergoes malolactic fermentation and ageing on lees for 24 months in glass-lined concrete tanks.

The wine undergoes light filtration and minimal added sulphur before bottling.
