An intense and richly concentrated Amarone from the heart of Valpolicella.

Fragrant, with wild florals, dried herbs, and spiced red cherry aromatics. Fruit driven in flavour, with black cherry, ripe dark fruits, and a cherry jam, alongside dried herbs and spiced notes.

Rich on the palate, dry, warming and soft in textured, structured with powerful tannin, and a long, persistent finish with a slight spiciness.

NERD NOTES

Made in the foothills of San Pietro in Cariano, in the Valpolicella Classico area, with organic cultivated vineyards and made using low intervention methods.

A Corvina blend, made from Corvina and Corvione (70%), Riondinella (25%), and Molinara (5%).

After being harvested, the ripe grapes go through the process of 'appassimento' where they are dried and left to raisin - intensifying the sugar and flavour within the grapes.
