Bright and carbonic with a very slight effervescence on opening. Fresh, crisp and chillable red with lots of black berry fruits and herbal spice. 

THE ESTATE

In 2020, Charles from the United States and Kabeko, a native of Nagano Prefecture, formed a unique partnership in the picturesque Katabashi region of Nagano, known as "The Corner District" for its distinct location at an elevation of 800 meters. Here, they cultivate a variety of grapes including Zweigelt, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Pinot Gris, Savagnin, and Chardonnay.

Their agricultural ventures also extend to growing sweet Cinan and Fuji apples, and producing an array of vegetable pickles, highlighting their commitment to the region's diverse bounty.

This partnership not only merges their dedication to viticulture but also blends their distinct backgrounds. Charles, who moved to Japan two decades ago, brought experience from American vineyards and Australian wineries. Kabeko, on the other hand, studied viticulture and vinification systematically at Saitama Wine University. Together, they embody a fusion of international expertise and local tradition, making their vineyard a testament to cross-cultural collaboration and passion for winemaking.
