Longarico 'Nostrale' Catarratto 2023 | Sicily, Italy

Crunchy white peach and lemon, a little saline and spicy minerality. Catarratto and love makes yummy nice wine. Have with all the meals. Chicken? Yeah ok. Duck? Why not? Whatever. It’s great.

NERD NOTES

Softly pressed to stainless steel, fermented on lees and aged 8 months. Minimal addition of sulfides. Clay and limestone soils. 

20 year old vines... altitude... 350 meters. Co-ordinates pending. Close transmission.

Made by two friends (aww) Alessandro Viola and Luigi Stalteri that wanted to champion the Cataratto grape in their region. 

Nostrale means: "homegrown."
