Pinot Noir from Marages in the Côte de Beaune of Burgundy, France.
The grapes come from the 1.5 hectare 'Sur le Bois' plot at the centre of the Cheilly hills, with 40 year old vines growing in calcareous clay-loam soils at 260 metres elevation.
Grapes are hand harvested, selected for ripeness, before being sorted and destemmed in the winery. The wine is fermented in oak barrels, where it is aged for one year.
Bottled unfined, unfiltered, and no added sulphur.
