Perfectly balanced between sweetly plump fruit and spices. Red and dark berries plums and currants. A touch of a grippy green note that contrasts and enriches the fruit and spice.

Vibrant and expressive on the palate, rustic in character, medium bodied, structured with tense tannin and mineral lines of acid. 

A fresh and wonderful drinking traditional red blend. Excellent.

NERD NOTES

Grapes: Touriga Franca, Tinta Amarela, Tinta Roriz, Rufete, Tinta Barroca, Malvasia Preta, and Donzelinho Tinto.

Managed vineyards are spread out across the Douro region, with different terrains but all lying on shist. Grown with organic and biodynamic viticulture.

Made using traditional techniques: Blend of varieties, some whole bunches, some food stomping.

Minimal added sulphur.
