Richly textured and spiced Pinot Gris from NSW!

Fresh citrussy guava, spiced green apple and pear, and hints of savoury mandarin peel on the flavour but generous on the texture.

Rich and textured, with a delightful saline mouthfeel. Yum.

Nerd Notes:

Organic grown Pinot Gris grapes, sourced from vineyards in Young, Hilltops and Gundaroo, Canberra District. Grown on a combination of granite, clay loam, and shale soils.

As with all of Mada's wines, each plot of grapes was vinified in several batches and then blended to perfection. The majority of grapes (85%) were moderately pressed to maximise texture and tannin extraction. The remaining grapes (15%) underwent carbonic maceration.

Fermentation took place in a combination of stainless steel tanks and old French oak barrels.

Made with minimal added sulphur.
