🍇 📍 Kamptal

🍷 Fresh & Mineral Whites

Tasting Notes

Classic Grüner yet a smidgen of skin contact has added some extra weight and complexity to the wine.

Fresh and textural with a lovely saline quality. Bright and fragrant with notes of stone fruit, peach, citrus and spice. Very fine and very tasty.

Producer: Matthias Warnung
Region: Kamptal, Austria
Grapes: Grüner Veltliner

Nerd Notes

Grüner Veltliner from the youngest vines (10-15 years old) on the family estate, grown with organic viticulture in loess and brown clay soils, in Etsdorf Am Kamp, Kamptal.

Hand harvested grapes, pressed as whole bunches into stainless steel, where they undergo spontaneous fermentation with native yeasts and aged for appoximately 11 months, during which it is aged on fine lees and undergoes malolactic fermentation.

Bottled unfined, lightly filtered, with minimal added sulphur.
