Notes of red cherries and florals on the nose, with hints of earth and spice.

Builds in flavour, with ripe cherries and a touch of plum, delicate spices, wild herbs, and an rich earthy character.

Soft and rounded on the plate, while still fresh and juicy, textured with an underlying crunchiness, rustic earthy tannin, a touch of bright acidity for balance, and a long finish.

Nerd Notes: 

A blend of three local native varieties - Sangiovese (80%), Canaiolo (10%), and Colorino (10%) - grown from older vines.

The grapes are picked and fermented together, half going in medium sized oak barrels and half in cement tanks.
