A delicious French Malbec, medium bodied but close enough to light bodied to warrant a restraining order.

Fruity and earthy with soft ripe strawberry and dark cherry fruit alongside rosemary and spice. Moreish and surprisingly refreshing. Lovely.

Nerd Notes

l'Ostal is the winery of Charlotte and Louis Perot. In 2012 they moved to a small 2 ha vineyard in Cahors. The winery is located inside a limestone cave that has no electricity, with candles being used for light. Very cool but I am assuming ghosts.
