Philippe Tessier - Toc Malbec 2020

A single variety Cot (Malbec) from Philippe and Simon's estate in Sologne. Cot is only allowed as a blending variety in Cheverny, so this wine is labelled as Vin de France. 

Semi-carbonic macerated for 15 days followed by aging in large neutral oak.

Super aromatic with notes of blackberries, dark fruits, violets, cassis and thyme. Soft on the palate and both juicy and chalky. Rich but the fine acidity keeps everything feeling refreshing and even. Really delicious.
