A perfectly aged and intensely rich Montepulciano d'Abruzzo - it's bold, nuanced, and full of depth and complexity.
Producer: Antica Tenuta Pietramore
Region: Chieti and Teramo | Abruzzo
Grapes: Montepulciano
Complex aromatics and intensely flavoured. Starts with notes of dried florals, dark cherry, plum, and a spiced fruit preserve on the initial sip.
Opens up with fruit flavours of blackcurrant and dark berry fruit, sweetly spiced with vanilla and chocolate, dried herbs, and a subtle leathery tone on the back palate.
Rich and intense on the palate, lushly textured, with soft, velvety tannin balanced against a bright acid touch. Persistent and clean on the finish, with a soft earthy fruit note.
NERD NOTES
