An exceptional Grosso Sangiovese from three Brunello vineyards. The grapes only go into this 'second' wine due to the severe selection carried out by Santa Maria for their Reserve Brunello. The wines spends three weeks on skins and two year in boti before bottling.
A complex and powerful wine. Dense and serious balanced by fine, minerally core of acid. Brilliant and age worthy. Rare.
