A complex, creamy, and savoury sparkling from the Franciacorta hills!
Ripe, golden yellow and citrus fruit flavours, subtle spice and dried herb undertone, that gives way to notes of sourdough and creamy pastry, with a savoury finish.
Elegant, full of texture with a rich creamy mouthfeel, gentle bubbles, and a dash of acidity.
Nerd Notes
A méthode traditionnelle sparkling wine, made of Chardonnay (80%) and Pinot Nero (Pinot Noir, 20%).
The grapes come from Franciacorta in Lombardia, Italy, with vines growing in morainic soils, comprised of glacial sediments.
Hand harvested grapes that are softly pressed before being fermented in stainless steel and French oak, where they are fermented with skin maceration.
They are then aged for a further 6 months in stainless steel and French oak, where they undergo malolactic fermentation, before being bottled and aged on lees for a minimum of 21 months before release.
