A deep and savoury red blend that is the epitome of the Barossa Valley and all its (red) flavours!
Producer: Sigurd Wines
Region: Barossa Valley, South Australia
Grapes: Grenache, Carignan, Syrah, Mourvedre, and Lagrein
Perfumed on the nose with dark wild fruit and exotic spices.
Flavours across the full spectrum of fruit - red, dark, and black fruits; berries, cherries, currants, and plums - hints of woodland undergrowth, savoury oak spices, and a hints of earth.
Full and plush on the palate, textured with crunch acidity and an almost soft silky tannin line. Its a wine that is full of power, complexity, and finesse.
Nerd Notes:
