I really wish "Lupus in Fabula" meant Fabulous Wolf but alas no. Fresh and minerally Vermentino from Sardinia - One of the best.

Fragrant on the nose with white florals, fresh white fruit, and a touch of herbs. Builds in flavour, with pear, peach, pulpy white fruit, apple, lemon, a touch of grapefruit and orange peel, Mediterranean herbs and shrubbery, hints of spice, and a moreish honey-nuttiness.

Fresh but weighty on the palate, dry, an elegant line of crisp acidity, rich pulpy fruit on the texture, finishes long and savoury.

Pairs wonderfully with a light bbq spread - seafood, grilled chicken and vegetables, and a light pasta salad.
