🍇 Chardonnay 📍 Mount Gambier

🍷 Soft & Textural Whites

Tasting Notes

Mount Gambier Chardonnay that is simultaneously bright and clean yet soft and buttery.

Crisp apple fruit flavours, zesty lime leaf, with lemon curd, butter, a soft leesy brioche-dough character, and delicate pastry notes.

Fresh yet weighty on the palate, medium bodied on the palate, a smooth butter texture coming from malo & lees aging, kept clean and approachable with bright acidity, that slowly gives way to a soft-creamy finish.

Nerd Notes

Chardonnay grown by the Chiesas from a cool vineyard in Mount Gambier (along the Limestone Coast), South Australia.

Hand picked grapes, pressed as whole bunches, and fermented in a 50/50 mix of stainless steel tanks and older French oak.

The wine undergoes full malolactic conversation and is aged for 6 months on fine lees.

Bottled with minimal added sulphur.
